1. Free License
A free license is available for everyone with basic features. There is no limitation in time and number of users. However, all advanced features are usable for the first 30 days only. Afterwards, they will be disabled automatically. They could be enabled anytime if you upgrade to Enterprise License or request an evaluation license by email to sales@soyatec.com.

Please note that Soyatec has not any commitment on the support of free license users. Your feedback, request and bug report are welcome. We’ll take them into consideration when it is possible.
2. Open Source License
JIRA Gantt chart Project is totally free if JIRA Server is assigned for Open Source projects. All features are available without limitation neither on time, non on number of users.
Please note that, same as Free license, Soyatec has not any commitment on the support of Open Source license users. Your feedback, request and bug report are welcome. We’ll take them into consideration when it is possible.
3. Evaluation License
The evaluation License is for the evaluation purpose. It provides full features for only one limitation in time. It can be used only for 30 days. After this trial period, all advanced features will be disabled.
4. Enterprise License
There are two kinds of commercial license: Floating license and named license.
4.1. Floating license
With Floating license, the licensed users are not fixed. The strategy is "First come, first served". The quota will be released if the connected user has no activity during 15 minutes.
Administrators of JIRA can still name some users to guarantee them access and then other seats could be used by any user on a first come first served basis.
This license manages the user connection using the following two properties:

User List | The user list can be still used to reserve the right of connection for some users. |
The user list cannot exceed the "User Count". The remained quota is calculated by subtraction: User count - size of User List. The quota is used to handle dynamic user connection.
4.2. Named license
Named license keeps a static list of users, which cannot be changed once a user is added. The list of users can be reset at the next maintenance renew.
5. Starter License
This is a cheap license to start up and small teams. It provides the full features. Please keep in mind that this license is applicable only for Starter license of JIRA.
6. Academic and Non-Profit License
An Academic and Non-profit License gets a discount of 50% of the pricing of the Commercial license above. The Academic and License license are not available for Starter License. And it works ONLY with the Academic and Non-Profit License of JIRA respectively.
